Dr. Schlasinger is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Schlasinger has been providing high quality compassionate veterinary care on the east side of Cincinnati since 2007. She is lovingly referred to as “Dr. S” by her clients and teammates. Dr. S often jokes that she can not say her married name or spell it on some days! Dr. S grew up in Georgia and was surrounded by pets – multiple dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, mice, even a lizard. It’s not surprising that at 13 she knew she would be a veterinarian. She began working in a veterinary hospital at 18 and has tackled every job from cleaning cages to answering phones. Dr. S realizes the bond we share with our pets is significant – often stronger than a relationship with another person.

Shortly after earning her veterinary degree, Dr. S moved to Cincinnati where she met her husband. Together, they have two daughters and two beagles, Abbie and Archie. Dr. S enjoys reading, listening and dancing to all kinds of music and tending to her flower garden. Her favorite season is summer. Dr. S loves soaking up the sun and floating in the pool or in Lake Cumberland with a yummy beverage in her hand. Dr. S is also a passionate Georgia Bulldogs fan and loves watching the UGA football games. GO DAWGS!!
